The growing demand for Quality of Maritime Services has shifted the focus of the industry from the User Quality to the Service Quality.

 

NERI management , aware of the expectations of Service Quality, has made a commitment to the company, its employees, customers, vendors, and industry associates (shipowners, port authority, agents, brokers, etc) and has established expectations for all employees to meet and achieve ever-increasing levels of operational performance and customer satisfaction.

 

Providing the kind of service that our customers have come to expect is considering the Quality of our services strategic, while ensuring the safety of our employees and protection of the environment, NERI has implemented these environmental, safety and quality assurance management programs aboard and onshore . Each Division is responsible for ensuring the appropriate implementation and monitoring of QHSE performance on board and at its sites on shore.

 

NERI's safety program is based on: the implementation of a global safety management system, technological choices that lead to improved operating methods and a better work environment, crew risk prevention and awareness, training and drills, so that the daily behavior of each crew member reflects a concern for safety.

 

NERI has developed an Operational Excellence Management System which is designed to fulfill the requirements of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, The International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code) and HSE practices and local regulations . On shore facilities hold the CDI-T security standards for european terminals. The company has held Document of Compliance (DOC) issued by Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) and Lloyd's Register (LRQA) that its Safety Management System and Operational Procedures meets the standards of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. All vessels exceeding 500 GRT hold Safety Management Certificates issued according to the ISM Code.

 

Our company DOC Livorno has recently acquired the CDI-T certification for european terminals and the ISPS antiterrorism. It is also in the process of obtaining the OSAS 18000 for safety.


All these programs, depending on the type of business, contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the NERI companies.
